Biography

Matthew J. Sklut has made his career in civil litigation with experience representing individuals and corporate clients as both defendants and plaintiffs in State and Federal Court. Since joining Anselmi Mierzejewski Ruth & Sowle P.C. in 2022, Mr. Sklut's primary focus has been litigating first party No Fault cases for Michigan's Assigned Claims Plan and its insurance carriers.

Mr. Sklut graduated from Michigan State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science/pre-law. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2015 when he graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Since then, he has made his career in civil litigation. Though he has specialized in No Fault auto cases, Mr. Sklut's experience extends to numerous areas of substantive law including premises, animal, product, and construction liability; landlord-tenant law; contract disputes; civil rights; employment law; and federal regulatory matters.

Mr. Sklut is licensed to practice law in Michigan.
