Biography
Jameel Amer joined Anselmi Mierzejewski Ruth & Sowle P.C. in 2025 as an associate lawyer, following his successful completion of the Uniform Bar Exam in July 2025.
Mr. Amer obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from McMaster University in 2018 and earned his Master’s degree the following year, specializing in comparative politics with a minor in international relations. It was during this period that he developed a strong interest in becoming a lawyer licensed in both Canada and the United States, allowing him to engage in cross-border legal work.
In 2025, Mr. Amer graduated cum laude from the Dual J.D. Program at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and the University of Windsor, gaining a distinctive cross-border legal education. Mr. Amer is licensed to practice law in Michigan.
